SABAW Media Art Kitchen

Tengal Drilon has been involved in interactive media, sonic arts, moving images, and curatorial and research-based production towards the imminent intersections of art, society, and technology since 2005. He is founder of SABAW Media Art Kitchen – an arts initiative that acts as a curatorial platform specializing in digital and intermedia art, particularly those created by artists, makers, and designers from the Philippines and the Southeast Asian region. SABAW has been producing concerts, workshops, inter-artist dialogues and forums, music albums, festivals for media art, and concerts for cutting-edge music concerts and expanded cinema screenings. It is the primary proponent behind Fete dela WSK!, a sonic and electronic art festival that takes place in Manila annually. Its ongoing Bedroomlab Lecture Series project functions as a platform for conversations and lectures about contemporary art, emerging technologies, DIYbio, social media, and design.

Outsiders Factory

Outsiders Factory is an Independence Experimental curation group set up in Taipei, Taiwan since 2011. They are mainly formed by artists. Outsiders Factory was constituted by young curators, art critics and professional workers who have art management background (art management of visual art or performance art). Outsiders Factory mainly works on exhibitions, performances and projects curation. Occasionally they also organise forums and lectures. They aim to transform “independent” curating works into group communication and construction, and also to make academic discussion become fundaments of their projects.
