One Man Nation as residency artist

One Man Nation (a.k.a Tara) will be in Singapore from the 1st to 7th of April 2013 for a residency at the Independent Archive & Resource Centre. During the course of the week, she will be giving 3 presentations and 1 concert. There will be a couple of talks and concert. Here is the schedule with further information:

02 Apr 2013 | 20:30 | 237 South Bridge Road | Tara will be doing an improvised set with Shaun Sankaran at the Earthbound series.

03 Apr 2013 | 15:00 | Interactive Media Seminar @ ADM (NTU) | //gender|o|noise\\ presentation as part of the panel discussion. Other speakers include Zulkiflie Mahmod, Xuanming Zhou, Peter Kellock, Ang Chong Lai, Galina Mihaleva, Martin Reiser and Louise-Philippe Demers.

04 Apr 2013 | 17:15 | School Of The Arts (SOTA) | //gender|o|noise\\ presentation.

06 Apr 2013 | 19:30 | IARC, 67 Aliwal Street | Tara will give a final presentation on her work processes, recent experiences and her work during the one week residency at the IARC.


About One Man Nation:

Tara x aka One Man Nation is a transgender experimental musician originally from Singapore with a background in media and sound art who graduated from the Piet Zwart Institute (Rotterdam, NL).  At present, she splits his time between Asia and Spain where she is co-directing the artists-run organization The Unifiedfield in Granada with Marta Moreno Muñoz.
